Just a REMINDER about our Neighborhood Watch meeting:

Some of you have been asking about community safety.  An interesting program will be presented by CHP Officer Lassig on the "Safety of Our Community".  Also in attendance will be Deputy Donoho and Lt. Aveling.  Lt. Aveling will introduce Lt. Lisa McConnell who will be taking over the wine country responsibilities.  

Please mark your calendars and plan to come with your questions and/or concerns. These representatives from the CHP and Sheriff's offices care about our community and want to help us make it much safer.  SO LET'S TURN OUT TO SHOW WE CARE TOO!!!!

At the GlenOak Hills Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, April 23rd, the Board will be reviewing the following (see attached documents):

1) Concept Plan - Park Landscaping at North Entrance including entry monument 

2) Concept Plan - Clubhouse Landscaping including entry monument 

3) Plant List 

Although the project does involve reductions in the amount of turf, the proposal includes leaving almost 11,000 square feet (roughly 72' x 151') of turf in the park area to allow for recreation activities and approximately 3,600 square feet of turf in the flat area at the Clubhouse to allow for placement of tables, chairs etc. for Clubhouse events. 

In addition, the project includes the installation of 365 California Friendly Landscape (CFL) shrubs, 20 trees and the irrigation will be completely replaced with drip irrigation. 

Due to the current drought conditions, the water district is offering a $2 rebate per square foot of turf removed, which greatly reduces the cost of the project.
